<abstract>
 Introduction: home caregivers of the older adults have psychological problems that require interventions to solve these problems. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of cognitive therapy based on mindfulness on resilience and suicidal thoughts of older adult’s home caregivers.
Methods: The research method was semi-experimental and pre-test, post-test with a control group. The statistical population of this research included all the family caregivers of the older adults who referred to the welfare organization of Babol city in the second half of 1400, and 30 people (15 people in the experimental group and 15 people in the control group) were selected by convenience sampling. Data collection tools were Connor and Davidson's resilience questionnaires (2003) and Beck's (1987) suicidal ideation questionnaire. Cognitive therapy intervention based on mindfulness was performed on the experimental group and the control group did not receive any intervention. Data analysis was done with descriptive tests (mean and standard deviation) and covariance analysis using SPSS version 24 software. P value less than 0.05 was considered significant.
Results: In the resilience variable, the mean and standard deviation of the experimental group in the pre-test was 27.02±4.42 and in the post-test 39.67±5.51 and in the variable of suicidal thoughts, the mean and standard deviation of the experimental group in the pre-test 18.27±2.74 in the test and 10.93±1.83 in the post-test. The results of covariance analysis also showed that mindfulness had an effect on resilience and suicidal thoughts of older adults home caregivers (P<0.01).
Conclusion: Based on the findings of the research, cognitive therapy based on mindfulness can be used to increase resilience and reduce suicidal thoughts in home caregivers of the older adults.

 <abstract>
 Introduction: The increase in life expectancy in today's era and the growing trend of the elderly population requires more and more attention to the psychological dimension of the life of the elderly as a large part of the population, so the present study aims to investigate the effect of intergenerational programs on the amount of The depression of elderly residents of Mashhad city was implemented..
Method: The present research is applied in terms of its purpose and field implementation method. The statistical population included elderly people 60 years old and older living in Mashhad in 2018. Using Cochran's sampling method, the sample size of 378 people was determined by cluster sampling. Demographic profile questionnaires, socio-economic status questionnaires (Garmaroudi and Moradi) and Yesavij depression questionnaire (GDS-15) were used to collect data. Multivariate analysis of variance or MANOVA was used to determine the interactive effect of demographic variables and groups as independent variables on the mean of dependent variables. And finally, Benferroni's post hoc test was used to show the difference between the groups. SPSS version 25 software was used to analyze the results and the probability value was α=0.05.
Findings: The results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of depression between the groups. No significant difference was found in the comparison between the two sexes (P=0.135). But in the pre-test-post-test stages, it shows a significant difference in the results of depression after applying the independent variables (P=0.001). The difference between the mean of the nursing home group and the exercise group in Mellat Park was shown to be significant using Tukey's post hoc test (P=0.013).
Conclusion: The present study showed that social activities and the presence of the elderly among the youth had an effective role in reducing the symptoms of depression. The intergenerational interaction program aimed at increasing social skills and reducing the isolation of the elderly led to an increase in self-confidence and a decrease in self-satisfaction.

 Abstract
Background:. Successful aging is one of the most important concepts in gerontology and is a process in which a person adjusts him/herself to adapt to the changes caused by aging and be independent. Based on a review of related literature, it seems that spiritual health and social participation can be considered as important predictors of successful aging. The present study aimed to determine the power of spiritual health and social participation in predicting successful aging among the elderly living in nursing homes.
Methods: This is a analytical cross-sectional study, in which a total of 181 elderly people living in nursing homes were recruited using stratified sampling. Data were collected using a demographic questionnaire, multidimensional questionnaire of successful aging, JAREL Spiritual Well-Being Scale (JSWBS), and Social Participation Questionnaire (SPQ).
Results: The overall mean scores of successful aging, spiritual well-being, and social participation were shown to be 139.38 ± 34.14, 78.63 ± 19.21, and 42.09 ± 13.57, respectively. Based on the results of multivariate regression analysis, spiritual well-being and social participation predicted 62.5% of the variance of the overall successful aging score (ADJ.R2 = 0.625, R2 = 0.63, R = 0.793).
Conclusion: The results showed that the mean score of successful aging increases as the mean scores of spiritual well-being and social participation increase.

 <abstract>
 Intoduction: The growing trend of the aging phenomenon suggests the need to pay attention to the activities of the elderly and examine the factors affecting them as an effective factor in improving the health of the elderly. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between capital and social support with the quality of life of inactive elderly.
Method: This descriptive correlation study was conducted on 200 inactive elderly people of the elderly center of Lahijan city in 1401. The samples were selected according to available methods. The data collection tools included the demographic profile form and Onyx and Bolen (2000) social capital questionnaires, Zammit et al. (1988) social support and Lipad (1998) quality of life questionnaires were used. The data were analyzed using K-S tests, Spearman's correlation and multivariate regression by SPSS23 software.
Results:According to the results, the average age of the research units was 66.94±8.22 years, and the overall score of social capital was 3.04±0.75, the overall score of social support was 3.07±1.13, and the overall score of quality of life 2.17±0.56 was obtained. The statistical results showed that there was a correlation coefficient (0.29 and 0.42) between capital and social support and quality of life, respectively, which shows that there is a significant relationship (P=0.001).
Conclusion: It is concluded that capital and social support is an important and effective factor in maintaining and promoting physical and cognitive health related to participation in the life affairs of the elderly. It seems that social support as a component affecting the physical and mental health of the elderly can be considered as a social capital in improving the dynamics and quality of life of the elderly.

 <abstract>
 Introduction: Fear of aging is one of the important factors of aging experts in today's psychological world. Fear of aging always threatens the conscious person at any age. But the experience of this feeling in old age has a special depth and meaning. The main purpose of this research was the relationship between self-compassion and fear of old age: the mediating role of spiritual health in the older adults of Ilam city.
Method: The current research is a cross-sectional study (descriptive correlation type), the statistical population of this research was the elderly with an age range of 65-80 years in the year 1400. The sampling method was purposeful and the samples of this research included 300 (men/ an elderly woman from the city of Ilam. Self-compassion questionnaires of NAF, Lasher's fear of aging questionnaire and Polotzin and Ellison's spiritual health questionnaire were used. Maximum Likelihood (ML) was used using SPSS version 26 software.
Results: From the total (n=300) research sample, 140 (46.77%) were men and 160 (53.33%) were women. In the studied sample, in terms of age range, 157 people (52.33%) in the age group of 65 to 69 years, 85 people (28.33%) in the age group of 70 to 75 years, and 58 people (19.33%) in the age group they were 76 to 80 years old. The path coefficient values in the research model indicated that self-compassion directly explains 43% of the changes related to the fear of aging variable. On the other hand, the results showed that the self-compassion variable has an effect on the fear of aging indirectly through the mediator variable - spiritual health. (p<0.05).
Conclusion: The results showed that there is a significant relationship between self-pity and fear of aging in older adults. Also, the mediating role of spiritual health in relation to fear of aging was confirmed. It is concluded that the variables of self-compassion and spiritual health can be used in the educational interventions of the fear of aging in the elderly.
