Introduction:Cancer is one of the five main causes of mortality. Spiritual well-being and gerotranscendence can play an important role in promoting the health of old age by creating meaning and concept in life. The relationship between spiritual well-being and the gerotranscendence with death anxiety in older adults has not been determined. Data were collected using questionnaires including demographic questionnaire, Polotzine and Ellison Spiritual Well-being Scale, Templer Death Anxiety Scale (DAS), and the Gerotranscendence scale (GS-S). Data analysis was performed with SPSS software version 26 and through independent t-test, analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: According to the findings of the present study, the average age of the participants in the study was 70.17 years, of which 39.5% were women and 60.5% were elderly men. The average spiritual well-being, death anxiety, and gerotranscendence were 3.75, 8.7, and 4.22, respectively. Based on the Pearson correlation coefficient, there was no significant correlation between death anxiety and spiritual well-being (r=0.01, p=0.79) and gerotranscendence (r=0.03, p=0.49) in the elderly participants in the study.
